    The building of the web.

    The building of the web.

First, the Cross spider looks for a good place for the web.
Mostly , the place of the web is in the near of flowers
The Cross spider by letting down the first frame thread (a).
Then a horizontal thread is produced (b), C and d completes
the frame. The line e defines the center f.
During the process of making a web the spider will use its
    own body for measurements.

The spider now start making radials. After the radials are
complete the spider will fortify the center of the web with
    about five circular threads.
    After completing the web
the spider waits in the center of the web for prey like
the mosquito or house fly. When it starts raining , the Cross spider will seek
shelter under the leaves of a shrub but the spider will
stay in contact by using a non-sticky prey or signal line
to the web hub to monitor web movement.

The Cross spider produces a silken thread by using

the spinneret glands located at their abdomen.
